THE STORY OF TRIOMPHE

When architecture inspires design
Triomphe takes its inspiration from the forms and carvings of La Porte Noire, the triumphal arch in Besançon. Built during the Roman Empire, this monument carries the weight of history, where every cleft speaks of time and memory.
The console captures this architectural essence: its etched facade evokes the aged texture of the stone, while its straight lines reflect the enduring strength and presence of arches that have stood through for centuries.

Triomphe, a console for our personal victories
Triomphe is an invitation to celebrate our personal victories, significant or discreet. Inspired by the triumphal arches that have commemorated achievements and historic moments throughout centuries, this console is designed as an intimate and symbolic space.
A VISION SIGNED BY
JULIEN GORRIAS

Respect for "positive design"
The original idea for Triomphe was thought up by Julien Gorrias, founder of the Carbone 14 studio. He is developing a concept of "positive design". For him, an object should not only have a function, but also have an environmentally-friendly end-of-life.
His vision is realised through a close collaboration with the Ibride team, who have chosen the specific materials and manufacturing techniques to bring this creation to life.

A façade with hidden secrets
Behind its facade, Triomphe reveals three secret compartments accessible by sliding its brass top. Designed to hold our most treasured objects, these discreet spaces evoke the idea that everyone carries hidden stories and memories.
