Metallic wall art
Belladonna byAurel Rubbish for Ibride is a triptych of brass wall art pieces that have already achieved great success. This spring, we are excited to introduce a new variation of this collection by offering the smallest of the three pieces for individual sale in three new vibrant colors: a very glamorous magenta, an elegant cobalt blue, and a pearlescent turquoise green, in addition to the deep black already existing in the original version of the triptych.
This new piece named "Fragment de Belladonna" is edited in a numbered and signed edition by the author.
The fascinating fragility of ephemeral beauty
Like Belladonna, a beautiful and toxic flower, the eponymous work of Aurel Rubbish edited by Ibride is attractive and troubling. With its dripping effects, Belladonna presents itself as a representation of a flower that gives the impression of flowing, blending into space. At the same time, the heart of the flower, bursting with gold, gives the work preciousness and rarity, while symbolizing the blooming of the flower in all its splendor.
This ambivalence provokes an emotional state of fascination, extreme curiosity in the face of the fragility of ephemeral beauty, and even a certain form of hypnosis or enchantment.
Meditating on our relationship with nature
The author, Aurel Rubbish, delivers through Belladonna his vision of the world, where the beauty of the plant world and the complexity of its balance are both fascinating and disturbing. This work is an ode to nature and an invitation to reflect on the impact of humans on this fragile ecosystem. Through Belladonna, Aurel Rubbish shows us the enigmatic beauty of nature and its vulnerability to the changes humans cause in its environment. This variation allows us to appropriate a captivating and meaningful work, which invites us to meditate on our relationship with nature.
