Long and slender, the Massimo console draws inspiration from the ancient Palatine hippodrome, the Circus Maximus, and transforms its monumental layout into contemporary furniture. Its elongated, shallow oval shape evokes the track where chariots once raced, interpreted here as a design in tension—both stable and light.
The two tabletops, finished in Comodoro green, provide a surface for everyday objects, plants, books, or decorative pieces. Measuring L.122 x D.42 x H.91 cm, Massimo fits naturally into an entryway, living room, or circulation space, offering a sculptural presence without overwhelming the area.
The console rests on a light oak base sourced from Franche-Comté, crafted according to Ibride’s exclusive expertise. The openwork arches surrounding the tabletops are cut and engraved in our Besançon workshop, giving the wood visual flexibility while maintaining its strength.
The tabletops are made from high-density Fenix laminate sourced from Italy, presented in Comodoro green. This material provides a soft, matte surface that resists scratches and daily wear. The color can be customized from a selection of shades when all three pieces of the Roma collection are ordered together. The console is entirely made in Franche-Comté, combining local woodworking with Ibride craftsmanship for a precise and durable result.
The Massimo console is easy to maintain with a soft, slightly damp cloth, without any abrasive cleaners. The solid oak base should be dusted regularly to preserve its color and texture. Designed for living rooms, hallways, or entryways, the console can hold both decorative objects and everyday essentials.
